AVID
Advancement Via Individual Determination
AVID is an elective course offered at BHS which focuses on a college-going culture.
In AVID, students will:
- Learn valuable study skills,
- Participate in tutorial sessions during class led by college students twice weekly,
- Visit colleges, attend field trips, listen to guest speakers, and
- Set short and long term goals for college.
