Irene Clinkscale Elementary is a premiere campus in Burleson ISD.  We are a neighborhood school with a population of under 600 students from kindergarten to fifth grade.  Our campus believes in every student becoming a champion by embracing their personal best and achieving their goals.  Each day is faced with positivity, healthy relationships, and holding accountabliliy.  Our staff is committed to providing learning opportunities that are research based, challenging, and differentiated to meet the needs of each student.  We believe in the value of partnering with the parent to achieve maximum student learning.

Mrs. Irene Clinkcale served the needs of the area for decades by establishing the first kindergarten school in 1960.  It was called "The Little School House and Happy Hours".  We are very honored to have our school named after such as inspirational and influential educator.
