The objective of Norwood Elementary PTO is to promote a closer relationship between the home and the school so that parents and teachers may work together in the education of the children.

What is the PTO?

We are an active group of parents, teacher and staff dedicated to promoting the well-being of all the children in their homes, school and community. We are an independent organization and do not belong to any state or national affiliation, or support any political platforms.

What does the PTO do with the money they raise?

We keep all of the funds that we raise for our school. Every dollar is used at Norwood Elementary. Some of the things we have purchased in past years include an awning and benches in front of the school, library books, a die cut machine and die cuts for the teachers, listening centers, literacy books, and playground equipment. We fund and organize events for the students throughout the year, a teacher appreciation program, and many other worthwhile projects.
