Each BISD Elementary School has an After School Program designed to provide quality instruction, academic enrichment, mentoring, tutoring, physical activity, as well as social and character skill building in a supervised setting from the close of the school day until 6:00 p.m.  This service is provided to parents as an enrichment opportunity for children who need a safe and secure setting after regular school hours and can successfully function in a 22:1 student/teacher ratio.  Each campus has a designated After School Director who manages the program at the campus level.  Specific information about each program is available through each campus.  Fees for the program are standardized throughout the district.

Over 1000 children participate in this program each year.  We invite you to consider this program offering when examining childcare options for your family during the school year.  Each campus program is designed to be self-supporting and all funds are utilized at each specific campus.  Funds in excess of program expenses are used by each school to enhance their academic and enrichment offerings.
