Burleson ISD Names Noel Greenwood Principal of STEAM Middle School

January 22, 2020 – Burleson Independent School District (BISD) announces Noel Greenwood as Principal of STEAM Middle School.

Greenwood has 10 years of experience in education, serving most recently as Assistant Principal at the Jackson Technology Center for Math and Science in the Garland school district. “We welcome Mr. Greenwood to Burleson ISD,” said BISD Superintendent Dr. Bret Jimerson. “He is a dynamic, accomplished leader who will be a strong contributor to our district leadership team while ensuring students at STEAM Middle School are successful.”

As an administrator in the Garland and McKinney school districts, Greenwood successfully developed and implemented programs to increase student achievement. “I could not be more excited to take on the new role as Principal of STEAM Middle School,” said Greenwood. “In the foreground of my research of STEAM, I have noticed a community with student-centered leadership; dedicated to preparing students for the world of tomorrow. I’m all in and plan to engineer a structure that propels student achievement to new heights through an innovative culture with technology-integrated learning.”

Parents and students are invited to a celebratory meet-and-greet event at STEAM Middle School on Monday, February 3 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
