CHS Agoge Camp
Centennial High School welcomes the Class of 2020!
In ancient Greece, the Spartans sent their youth to a military camp called "Agoge Camp." This taught them to become adults.
CHS would like to invite all 9th graders and their parents to the 10th Annual "Agoge Camp" for the class of 2020. While it is certainly not a military camp, it is a valuable experience. The events start at 6:00 on Monday, August 12th. Parents will attend a meeting in the Auditorium with lots of valuable information about how to navigate your student through HS. Students will go to a pep rally in the Arena where they will be entertained by the cheerleaders, Sparklers, and Spartan Regiment Band. They will learn what it means to be a Spartan. The meeting and pep rally will end at the same time and parents are invited to line the halls of the school to watch their students follow the Regiment through the halls in their symbolic first walk through CHS.
