Tricia Lyday Named Principal of Frazier Elementary


BURLESON, Texas – (June 13, 2019) – Burleson Independent School District (BISD) announces Tricia Lyday as Principal of Frazier Elementary. 

Lyday has nearly 17 years of education experience, five of which have been in BISD. Most recently serving as the Academic Assistant Principal of Hughes Middle School, Lyday is a former elementary school teacher and testing coordinator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington.

“Mrs. Lyday is an impressive leader who has made a tremendous impact on our students and school community,” said BISD Superintendent Dr. Bret Jimerson. “We are confident that Tricia will continue to improve the education experience for students.”

“I am honored and excited to become the principal of Frazier Elementary and join the extraordinary Frazier school community,” said Lyday. “I look forward to building strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and community partners to continue the Frazier Bear legacy of success.”
