BISD offers opportunities for students to create custom learning experiences at every level.

A choice school offers students the opportunity to explore a specific pathway while still learning the required state curriculum. Students interested in attending choice schools must apply and follow application guidelines specific to the school of choice. 

2025-2026 Choice School Application Dates

High Schools of Choice

Apply November 13 at 8 a.m. - December 6 at 5 p.m. 

• Burleson Collegiate High School: Parent information night is November 19, 2024, from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at BCHS (517 SW Johnson). For more information, visit Burleson Collegiate High School or contact the campus at 817-245-1600.

Middle Schools of Choice

Apply January 22 at 8 a.m. - January 28 at 5 p.m. 

• Game Development Design School: Middle school parent information night is Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 5:30-6:30 p.m.  
• STEAM Middle School: Taste of STEAM event is January 14, 2025, from 5-7 p.m.

Elementary Schools of Choice

Apply January 22 at 8 a.m. - January 28 at 5 p.m.
