BISD Film Festival Contest

Student filmmakers created and submitted short films for the BISD Film Festival, and it’s time to view and vote for your favorite film!

Judges are currently scoring students’ short films to determine the finalists for each of the award categories.

We invite you to view students’ short films and cast your vote for the Viewer’s Choice award now through Thursday, December 5 at 11:59 p.m.

Finalists for each film category will be announced December 13. Winners will be announced at the BISD Film Festival at the Venue on January 18 at 6:00 p.m.

Good luck to all student filmmakers!

We’re excited to announce the Burleson ISD Film Festival, a filmmaking contest that showcases students’ creativity and production talents.

Everyone has a story to tell, and filmmaking can provide an outlet and a fun way to share ideas and creativity. Students with access to an iPhone, Android, Chromebook, iPad, tablet, or high-quality equipment have the tools to plan, shoot, and edit short films.

Getting Started
The BISD Film Festival challenges BISD students in grades K-12 to produce either a narrative or animation/stop motion short film. Visit the Burleson ISD Film Festival website for more information:
