August 2024 Hajek Teacher and Staff Member of the Month

Our August Staff Member of the Month is... Cora Barron!  Here is what was said about her: "She is handling her new position like a champ and always has a smile on her face. I know it had to be a challenge, especially at the beginning of the year, but you wouldn't know it because she always has such a positive attitude." "Cora has taken on a new and very stressful role in our school. She does it with a smile and I have never seen her once complain. I love having her as a part of our staff, as she brings so much positivity to our school." "Cora is so uplifting even when we are drowning, she always has a smile." "She did an excellent job behind the scenes helping get our students enrolled in time!" "Cora has done a great job at transitioning into a new role. She always responds to questions with kindness and a smile on her face." "Cora is awesome! She stepped into a new role that is very demanding and her smile is still bright!" "Cora has jumped right into her new position. I am so glad that it is her friendly face that many of our new families first see. She has had to learn so much very quickly with not a lot of time to learn it. However, she has managed to do great. Her positive and upbeat personality make her an asset to our campus." "Tackling PEIMS like a Queen." "Cora has embraced her new role like a champ! She is a blessing to our whole campus!" "Cora is doing a fantastic job navigating a difficult job at a very busy time. She has the best attitude about it. I'm so glad we have her!" "Coming into a new position is always hard. You are doing an amazing job." "Cora is one of the most pleasant people I know. She is very approachable and will find the answer to any question you might have. I'm so thankful she is in the front office!" "She has a new position this yr and she is doing a great job."

 

Our August Teacher of the Month is... Rosario Torres!  You all said: "Mrs. Torres has a lot of patience and love for these tiny humans in her classroom. No matter how her day is going she always has a smile on her face. We are lucky to have Mrs. Torres on our Hajek team!!" "I admire Ms. Torres and what she has already accomplished with these little pre-k kiddos. She is patient with them, and takes her time to help them. Her sweet and calm demeanor is refreshing and fun to watch. It takes a special person to be able to teach pre-k and she is doing it well. I am glad she is on our campus." "Mrs. Torres has such a calm, loving demeanor toward her students and is a great addition to our campus. Her pre-k babies are lucky to have her!" "Mrs. Torres is amazing with our new little Hawks. We are so lucky to have her as part of our Hajek family."  "Mrs. Torres has such a way with her Pre-Kers! She is kind and loving to them, yet firm when needed." "Mrs Torres has created great procedures with her Pre-K students and they have quickly become a part of our Hajek family!" "Mrs. Torres has such patience with the PreK kiddos.
