August 2023 Teacher & Staff Member of the Month

Our August Staff Member of the Month is... Rhonda Hidalgo!  Rhonda's peers said: "This woman is AMAZING and she is always willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. She is a pleasure to work with and would not know what we would do without her!" " Rhonda is always helpful, happy, and never complains! She is great with the students and they love her."

 

Our August Teacher of the Month is... Dr. Matthew Filosa!  Dr Filosa's peers said: "Dr. Filosa brings an energy to our school. The students enjoy getting to go to his class and he is growing a love for music in them. He has joined our team and embraced being a Hawk."  " Mr.Filosa has already made an impact on our school. It kind of began on Meet the Teacher night when he showed up in his "elementary" style shirt. I knew right then he was going to be a special teacher. My students cheer when it is music day and come back smiling afterward. They love going to his room. I've watched his interaction with students, and he has already built rapport with so many. He is instilling a love of music in these young kids as well as being an example of a male in this role. We are so thankful that Mr. Filosa has joined our staff and cannot wait to see what else he accomplishes."
