BISD Choice Schools: Application Information

Burleson ISD offers opportunities for students to create custom learning experiences at every level. A choice school offers students an opportunity to explore a specific pathway while still learning the required state curriculum. Students interested in attending choice schools must apply and follow application guidelines specific to the school of choice. 

2023-2024 Choice School Application Dates

All lottery applications are accessible through SchoolMint: BURLESONISD.SCHOOLMINT.NET.

High Schools of Choice

Burleson Collegiate High School: Application opens November 29 at 8 a.m. - January 13 at 4 p.m.

Parent Information Night: January 10, 2023, at 6 p.m. at BCHS (517 SW Johnson).

Game Development Design School: Application opens January 5 at 8 a.m. - January 13 at 4 p.m.

Middle Schools of Choice

Applications open January 23 at 8 a.m. - January 27 at 4 p.m. 

Game Development Design School: Parent Information Night is January 19 from 5-6:30 p.m. (510 SW Wilshire Blvd.)

STEAM Middle School: Taste of STEAM Parent Information Night is January 24 from 5-7 p.m. (900 SW Hillside)

Applications open January 23 at 8 a.m. - January 27 at 4 p.m.
