What All Should I Send with my Child to Daycare?
Please send at least 1 change of clothes, a favorite blanket and soft toy to make their napping time more comfortable, a prepared lunch or money to purchase a lunch through the BISD Food Service. (please see other questions above about the lunches) Infants need to bring their diapers, wipes, pacifiers, bottles, formula, cereal, baby food and any other personal needed item. Children still wearing diapers need to bring their diapers/pull-ups and wipes. • What are the sick child policies? Everyone wants their child to be happy and healthy at all times. One way to maintain that at the daycare is to keep your child home if they exhibit illness symptoms. These include diarrhea, vomiting, fever over 100 degrees, lethargy, etc. A good rule of thumb is if the child is up to participating in normal daycare activities such as playing outside, playing in centers, participating in circle time, playing learning games and activities, etc. then they are well enough to come to daycare.
