After School Program (ASP)
Are you looking for quality after school child care for your elementary school age children?
Each BISD elementary school has an After School Program (ASP) designed to provide quality instruction, academic enrichment, mentoring, physical activity, and social and character skill building in a supervised setting from the dismissal bell until 6:00 p.m. This service is provided to parents as an enrichment opportunity for children who need a safe and secure setting after regular school hours and can successfully function in a 22:1 student/teacher ratio. Each campus has a designated ASP Director who manages the program at the campus level as well as qualified instructors who lead each group of students. Specific information about each program is available at each campus. Fees for the program are standardized throughout the district.
Over 900 elementary children participate in this program each year. We invite you to consider BISD ASP when examining childcare options for your family during the school year.
