The Burleson ISD Communication Department is committed to encouraging and enhancing communication with parents, students, staff, community members, and the news media.

The Communication Department serves to coordinate a variety of communications with both internal and external district audiences which include news releases and media relations, the BISD website, newsletters, reports, brochures, and requests for information.

Media Inquiries

All media inquiries regarding Burleson ISD, district campuses, and district employees should be directed to the Communication office. Exception: Routine athletic and/or extracurricular activity news coverage can be handled by the appropriate coach/sponsor.

So not to disturb the learning environment, cameras/reporters are not allowed on the campus or into the classroom unless the campus administrator and/or appropriate staff members have provided prior approval.
