Change in the workplace, change education.  What workplace skill do we need to provide for our students?

Baylor Univ. compared brain scans from adults and students and students brains are differnt now.  They process differently than we do, we need to adapt or we will loose them.  So how do we become the adapter the helps them plug in to the educational outlet?

Creative content delivered immediately on a global scale. NOT pen and paper!

Grapics over text,  multi-tasking students make it difficult for the pen an paper, read to understand teacher.

What is web 2.0?  Internet that allows people to interact with information and be content providers. The read/write web. – any application on the web that allows you to interact.

Mind Maping, create a throw away email account for your logins, Gmail is great it won’t throw away sign up emails.  Write it down, save it, BUT DON’T TAPE IT TO YOUR LAPTOP!

CONCLUSION:
Don’t be afraid to fail, you only getting 1 step closer to being successful.  Pick 1 new thing a year to master, don’t try to do too many thing in the same year.
