What if your imagination was the only limiting factor?….
Have an idea that would help your students work smarter, be more engaged in learning, achieve more? Have you ever said, “If I had that in my classroom, it would make a difference in student learning?” The Burleson ISD Technology Department is looking for a few innovative teachers who are willing to explore the exciting world of educational technology integration in their classroom with their students. If you are willing to take the challenge, read on.
Purpose: To encourage, recognize, and reward innovative and creative instructional practices that integrate technology, support district initiatives, increase student engagement, and enrich student learning.
The grant is intended for purchasing technology:
- that is currently not widely used in the district
- for student use
- expected to increase student engagement and learning
Eligibility: BISD certified teachers involved in the instruction of students
Submission: Only one application per applicant may be submitted (This grant is intended for individual classroom needs, rather than team submission.)
Deadline: All grant applications must be submitted in Eduphoria Formsspace no later than 4:30 pm on March 30, 2007. Grants received after this deadline will not be reviewed.
Application: Formspace in Eduphoria will be used to complete and submit all applications.
Handwritten applications will not be accepted.
Faxed applications will not be accepted.
Attachments: Applicants can upload three (3) files to the form. Documents may be combined into one file for uploading.
