I would like to nominate Stephanie Friedrich aka Coach Fred for the TUT award. She does a wonderful job of integrating Art with technology. Her ArtII class has been coming to the computer labs all year. The students have taken pictures of their art work and made a power point with them. Once every 6 weeks they add more slides and pictures to their power point. Now that they have made all their slides for their power points, Coach Fred is showing her students how to turn those power points into a video using photo story 3. With the help of the internet and Skype the student participated in an opportunity of a life time. It was a heart warming experience for the teachers and the students. The students talked individually to their epals and asked each other personal questions that created heart warming discussion. |

Christina Anders' technology use was brought to my attentiona by her grade level team leader, and I totally agree with Mrs. Prior. I have observed Ms. Anders present wonderful power points persentions for math. Attached is the nomination from Mrs.Prior: I think that Christina Anders needs to be nominated for the TUT award because of her ability to locate United Streaming Videos to go along with our units. She does this on her own and then shares her findings with the whole team. Several times, she has set up the in-focus machine in her room and invited us to view them with her class. She has also offered to help us set up the in-focus machine in our rooms if we wanted help. This has been an asset to our curriculum. |
