Mary had students create a floor plan of their "wish" room, in KidPix and figure area and perimeter. They printed the floor plans and posted them in the hall with the dimensions and the area listed.

I had an 8th grade L.A. teacher,  Heather Sanders in my Computer Lab this week.  She used podcasting to make learning fun for her classes. They can log on and listen to the vocabulary words for that week and the assignment they had to do for that day.

Mrs. Tutle is at the forefront of all new technology.  She has a wonderful new feature to her wonderful website, which she will help keep parents abreast of their child's reading.  The students are motivated and excited to read their stories on the computer.

Mrs. Milburn brought both of her classes into the computer lab and groups used a PowerPoint template to show the progress of plants growing in different types of soil. The students had taken pictures of their plants throughout the experiment (30 days) and posted them.

She replaced 2 dinosaur age computers with 4 brand new Dell GX 620's.  These computers have allowed the Art IV students to burn CD's and create electronic portfolios of their artwork, thereby bringing them into the 21st century for scholarship and job applications.
