Crossroads High School is NOW Accepting Applications

Tuesday, July 13, 2010

Crossroads High School is now accepting applications for enrollment for August 2010.  We will be accepting applications through the last day of July 2010.

Applicants should meet at least one of the "At-Risk Criteria" as listed with the on-line application.  Students should also be 17 years old (or turning 17 during the semester in which they are accepted).  Priority is given to older students due to the fact that Crossroads High School does not offer a "full high school program", elective choices are EXTREMELY limited.  Crossroads High School does not offer any AP courses.

Applications will be reviewed and applicants will be called during the second week of August.

We look forward to meeting our new applicants to see if Crossroads if the "right fit" for you.

Rigorous course opportunities to expand in BISD

Monday, June 14, 2010

For the past several years, students who participated in Advanced Placement were taught in the same classes as students who were enrolled in college credit courses.  A transition is underway to better meet the needs of BISD students who wish to score a three or higher on Advanced Placement examinations.
