Mr. Stribling was a superintendent for twenty-nine years, in four different school districts of Texas. He retired as superintendent of Burleson ISD in June of 1980. He enjoys traveling, reading and doing volunteer work. He is a member of Burleson Lions Club, Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce, Johnson County Crime Stoppers, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Burleson Area American Association of Retired Persons, and Burleson Area Retired Teachers Association. |

He was honored by being named Citizen of the Year in Frisco, Mt. Vernon and Burleson. In 1993, he was named Volunteer of the Year by the City of Burleson.
