Burleson ISD would like to welcome Miller Beaird, the new Principal for Kerr Middle School

Miller has been an educator for 16 years. He has been a principal for 7 years both in elementary and in high school. He has degrees from Texas Tech University, University of North Texas, and University of Phoenix. His educational philosophy is simple, “Kids First.”
Miller has been married to the love of his life, Brandie, for 13 years. They have two children, Lauren and Landon. Additionally, they have two English Bulldogs, LuLu Belle and Brutus. Miller is moving from Hamilton, Texas, where he was the high school principal. Previously, he lived in Mansfield, Texas, for 12 years. In Mansfield, he was the principal of Charlotte Anderson Elementary for 6 years.
Miller understands where middle school students are coming from and where we need to get them. “ I am excited at the opportunity to be the new principal of Kerr Middle School,” says Miller. “I can’t wait to get started. I look forward to getting the opportunity to meet as many students, parents, teachers, and community members as possible this summer before we begin the 2012-2013 school year journey.”
