Burleson ISD Reading Bee

Burleson ISD is proud to announce Walker Crane from Brock Elementary as the 2012 BISD Reading Bee Champion.   Each elementary campus in BISD submitted the name of their top reader in the second grade.  These students were invited to read three passages for two district judges on October 23rd and 25th.   The students were judged on accuracy, fluency, and comprehension.  Out of the ten outstanding students that read for the district judges, Walker came out on top.  On November 17, 2012 at TCU, Walker will be competing against other second grade students from the metroplex area for the North Texas Reading Bee championship.  BISD is very proud of Walker and know he will represent us well.  Congratulations Walker!
