BISD Welcomes Karen Crow as the new Principal for Clinkscale Elementary

Burleson ISD would like to welcome Karen Crow as the new Principal for Clinkscale Elementary. 

Karen just completed her 30^th year in education.  She received her doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Tarleton State University.  Prior to that, she received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington majoring in Health, Physical Education and English and Master’s of Education from the University of North Texas in Educational Administration. 

Karen enjoyed teaching and coaching at both the elementary and secondary levels for 11 years.  She has spent the past 19 years in administration.  She is the proud parent of two grown young men with two wonderful daughters-in-law and two precious grandsons with her first granddaughter on the way.  Karen states, “I am also the equally proud day-time parent of my future 400+ students at Clinkscale Elementary.”  Her goal is to challenge every student to do their best every day and to set lofty education goals for their future.
