Thanks to our community partner, Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South, BISD can now offer students a 4D, holographic, learning experience with several zSpace stations for students in grade levels K-12. (Please see THIS VIDEO, and THIS VIDEO, for an overview of this technology.) Programs that all students may use are included in the zSpace STEM suite. Human Anatomy is a particular favorite of BISD high school students studying Biology, especially those who are on the Certified Medical Assistant Pathway and may intern at Texas Health Huguley Hospital.
The zSpace programs at the Clinkscale Learning Center are specifically aligned to the Texas TEKS and designed for students in grade levels K-12, except Human Anatomy for Secondary students. Although elementary and middle school students are particularly fond of Franklin’s Lab, and Newton’s Park, these programs are also designed for students in K-12, and provide students lessons for Advanced Placement and college level courses. zSpace Studio is a program that all ages love and use as well.
All students may create their own presentations and, although teachers may monitor student zSpace stations, staying on task is never an issue when students are using technology, just like Iron Man!
