Checkpoint Tests are an important part of B.I.S.D.'s academic assessment program.  Data reports from these tests help teachers identify student's strengths and weaknesses in a subject so that re-teaching may be done in a students weak areas.  Being prepared for test days help students to be more successful on the tests.

Offering encouragement, making sure your child gets a good night's sleep & eats a healthy breakfast before each test day are important.  Being at school on checkpoint days is important because our Kindergarten through 5th grade staff tries hard to make our building the best testing environment possible for our students.  Please try to schedule appointments for your child around these checkpoint dates.  Thanks for your cooperation!
