Frazier Elementary has a Crisis Management Plan in place that was developed collectively by the administration, teachers, parents, and police department. This plan is comprehensive in nature, including specific procedures for evacuation, weather drills, lock-downs and other crisis situations. Staff members have been trained in these procedures, and know exactly what to do in each of these specific events. We have regularly scheduled practices and drills for our students and staff.
We require all visitors to sign in at the front office, and wear identification badges once they leave the office. We question anyone in the building who is not wearing a badge, and remind them that they must check in at the office. The parameter of the building is monitored daily for any unusual activity.
We want our Frazier parents to feel secure about the safety of your children when you bring them to school. We pledge to do our best to keep your children safe at all times while providing them with a rigorous and meaningful education.
