Why did you choose education as your career field?
I chose to be a teacher because I knew I wanted a job where I could make a difference. I believe that education is the key to success, and I hope to inspire students to dream big and achieve their goals. I believe that when you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything. |
Where was your first teaching job? What subjects have you taught?
I first taught in Dallas ISD at George Peabody Elementary in a 3rd grade classroom. From there, I went to Porter Elementary in Birdville ISD where I was a 5th grade Reading and Social Studies teacher. |
Administrative experience includes:
Before coming to Bransom, I spent the past two years working as an Assistant Principal at Mound Elementary. |
Fun stuff . . .Hobbies:
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to read, take walks, and watch movies. I have a one year old daughter, so my husband and I spend a lot of time watching Baby Einstein videos and playing peekaboo! |
Children:
I have a daughter named Aubrey, who is about to turn one. She has made our world so much better, and I can’t remember what we ever did without her! |
Pets' names and breeds:
I have an 18 year old cat named Cally, a 10 year old cat named Kitty, and a 7 year old cat named Chloe! |
Favorite food:
My favorite food is definitely French fries. I always prefer something salty over something sweet. I love baked potatoes, potato chips, and mashed potatoes. I also really like Mexican food! Chips and queso is one of my all time favorites! |
