Our Mission Statement
The Bransom Elementary Parent Teacher Organization will work in partnership with the faculty, students and parents to promote the school's commitment to strong values and academic excellence.  It will provide activities that foster an environment in which both adults and children will have the opportunities to grow as a community.   The PTO will establish a closer relationship between home and school which will enable parents and teachers to cooperate intelligently in the education of children.  It will develop united efforts between educators and the general public that will ensure the highest advantages for all children in physical, mental and social education.

What is the PTO?

We are parents and teachers who volunteer our time and resources to enhance the educational experience of every child in our school. We are an independent organization and do not belong to any state or national affiliation, or support any political platforms. We keep all of the funds that we raise for our school.

Am I committing to volunteering by joining the PTO?
Absolutely not! By joining the PTO you are simply showing support for your child and your child's school. However, if you'd like to help take a look at our Volunteer Opportunities!

What does the PTO do with the money they raise?
Every dollar of the money raised is used at Bransom Elementary. We have purchased playground equipment, swings, leveling books, library books and die cuts for the teachers. We fund and organize events for students every grading period, a teacher hospitality program, and many more worthwhile projects.

Our Purpose

  • To support and enhance the school community through fund raising, social events and curriculum enhancement that is consistent with the philosophy and mission statements of the school.

  • To be responsible for maintaining good communication between home, school and the PTO.

  • To provide social events that foster an environment in which both adults and students will have the opportunity to grow.

Our Goals
Bransom Elementary has an active PTO whose goals include:

  • fostering a better understanding of the learning process through communication between parents and faculty

  • helping to meet the needs of students through cooperation between family and school

  • supporting the school through volunteer and financial assistance
