2007-08 School Year
Mission
The
purpose of Bransom’s After School Program is
to provide a safe, affordable program for Bransom students to
continue learning and exploring after the school bell rings.
Camp Instructors
The instructors are Bransom’s finest
teachers, parents, college or high school students and friends.
Students
Students are required to show respect toward
instructors and other students at all times. If a student
refuses to cooperate, Extended Day reserves the right to dismiss that
student.

will not be attending the ASP by leaving a message with the school
office or calling the ASP cell phone direct at
817-454-3742 and leaving a
message. Thank you for your help with keeping your child
safe.
Medication
Policy
The ASP does NOT have access to medications in the
nurse’s office. We prefer that the nurse administers
medications before 3 p.m. If the
student requires a prescription medication, such as an inhaler,
during ASP hours, the parent must provide the ASP with such
medication even if the nurse already has it. A proper
medication form will need to be completed with a physician’s
signature.
Snacks
The ASP will provide a snack, however the student
will need to bring a water bottle daily. Students are welcome
to bring snacks from home as they may not care for a particular snack
that is provided. If your
child has certain snack requirements due to health or, for instance,
orthodontics, you may prefer to send a snack with your child.
Personal Items
From time to time, students may need to bring their own
personal sports equipment such as softball glove, batting helmet,
etc. Please make sure that each item is labeled with his or her
name. The ASP is not responsible for any lost or stolen
items. For safety reasons, all students are required to wear
appropriate shoes for physical/sport activities. Trading of
toys, cards, etc will not be permitted and should be left at
home.
Withdrawal from Enrollment
A two-week written notice is required if you
choose to withdraw your child from Extended Day. You will be
charged for two weeks from date of notice regardless of whether
or not your child attends. If
your family experiences a major occurrence requiring you to withdraw your
child suddenly without notice, please speak directly to the director
and explain your situation. It
may be possible to work out arrangements that suits everyone.
